You need to (quickly) accept and adapt to the reality that there is no “repairing” what has been done and what is underway. There is no “getting back to.” You need to start thinking about smaller segments of the current country becoming different countries. You need to start understanding that freedom of movement - like so many other “freedoms” is changing in real time. The USA will be dissolved within 15 years. There will be great suffering that makes today’s challenges look easy.
