I'm scared because I don't know how I'm going to afford this month's rent and get food for my dad who I took in and my cat. Anything helps.

Plain white and wheat bread is generally safe for dogs to eat, provided they don't have any allergies.
Feeding your dog bread as a treat won't hurt them, as long as she is also fed a complete and balanced diet and gets plenty of exercise.
