Good call. I recent applied for and changed my mind about moving up as soon as I saw what it entailed. Twice as much work and responsibility, and less money because my current position pays overtime, the supervisor position doesn’t. AND I lose my company vehicle. (I’m an electrician that travels a lot in my job) I told my manager that flat out and he was disappointed in me. I told him he should offer a better wage to get the right people, that’s not on me.
