Once had an argument with my father over something like that. Waffle House waitress didn't charge us for coffee. He was like "They can't just give away free stuff, its a business and not their choice!"... and I was like "It builds customer loyalty and keeps people coming back, and the overall cost is negligible."
Instead of Trickle Down Theory... why not Piñata Theory?
Bubbles pop faster when you poke them.
Bingo!
I used to play this all the time, I figured out a way to always win... but there is the rule that if you make a box, you get to draw another line, right? Kind of an important detail.
Instead of redeeming Scrooge after being horrible, it sounds like they are trying to justify why pre-redemption Scrooge was perfectly fine.
The mystery meat showed in the video is actually a 3D printed steak unrelated to current events. Just FYI
I get the argument, and perhaps I am misunderstanding AI, but I believe most new image generating models are derived from refining and retraining existing models, not starting over from scratch. And since the original models were trained with just about everything they could get their hands on, wouldn't that mean that it would always have been a part of the process?
Yep, as rough as it is to make this defense... if it was pencil on paper, then I could at least see the argument, as there was no involvement of a child anywhere in the process. But with AI trained models, where real images are used... then at some point, somewhere, abuse happened to provide the training data that led to being able to create that image. Ergo, it is derivative CSAM.
Ah manure, that classic black gold that make the harvest fruitful.
Easy B team, ftw!
Ah not what i meant by identical results... not the fraying/strength, but the length of remaining material one the seam is sewn.
I assume the two examples are not supposed to produce identical results, and you need to adjust for the style? Because the way it is shown, the connection point on the second loses the width in material, because of the fold-over, right? so needs to be accounted for.
That was kind of fucked up on multiple levels...
Also gutted and destroyed many of our institutions and safety nets, and ultimately plans to end democracy.
Not gonna lie, feeling a bit blueballed for not seeing the whole ship at the end.
Our pitty would love a rock.. I'm afraid he'd crack his teeth on it. Pupper can chew through kevlar.
Rockstar is not a company I want to give money to, these days.
As someone who mains frogs whenever possible, this looks amazing... also saw the bearded lizard one. Very cool/well done.
Even when they allow for the possibility of corruption in their delusions, never Trump... for some reason, he always gets a free pass.
Dolly Parton @80, Tim Curry @80, Optimus Prime/Eeyore (Peter Cullen) @85, and now the King of Norway @89. Anyone remember that episode of Supernatural where they used a Reaper to drain the life force of people to extend the life of the terminally ill? Anyone see a weird pendant or a key chain on Trump or his "aide"?
I know people are like "oh no, the economy!", but a a negative rate is GOOD for the planet. We literally have too many people, that the planet cannot continue to sustain us indefinitely.
Really seems like Israel has either bribed or has compromising blackmail on nearly every politician in the western world.
Zionists are the new nazis.
The East Wing of the White House would like a word.
I'm glad I never wanted to be an astronaut... lot of work, and you need to be both intelligent and athletic. I wanted to be a crazy hermit druid... two out of three ain't bad... still trying to forge an alliance with the crows.
Canada should just rename Mara Lago to "Dumbfuckistan" on all its maps.
They illegally voted in place of his corpse. He will not "die" until his term is up and the news cycle has completely forgot about him.
Sadly, it feels like stupidity is contagious and terminal. Humanity might need to start triaging soon if it wants to survive.
