I can't say this is true, at all. I'm going to quit smoking this year, and have been smoking for about 25 years of my career, never once have I abused the break taking system— 15m, 30m (at some jobs 1hr), 15m — as I don't wish to get written up over something stupid. I also live where it rains a lot, and have had to get creative in where I smoke so a) I don't bother others or break the law (25ft from an entry), and b) stay dry. It sounds like a grudge against assholes, rather than ALL smokers.
You can always rely on Julie Taymor to bring an absolute INSANE project to fruition. Case in point: The Lion King musical.Counterpoint, but still valid: Spider-Man Turn off the Dark.
Please make sure and get enough fiber and take your back pain meds, brœther.
It’s one of the only “Tony Scott-style intros” that is really successful , however not made by Tony Scott.
I’m so happy— I JUST found his book of one-man plays at the used bookstore, and the same week got them all on video to put on my media server. I CANNOT WAIT to watch “FREAK” with my wife. His one man shows are SO GOOD. Excited!
EXCELLENT SCORE, frankly. I wish La-La Land Records would get the rights to distribute the FULL complete unadulterated score, without all the dialogue that was overlaid in the commercial release of the score for some milestone anniversary. What’s even more crazy is that Nelle Hooper never did another score after that film, so it’s literally the pinnacle of her work.
The nice thing is in about 5 years you'll be able to turn this into one of the most accurate history books of this regime that'll ever be available, and that's important, if not for our generation, but the next.
Uh, they did:
If you haven't read them, the Han Solo Trilogy by Brian Daley from the 80's was also quite excellent as well. It features Han Solo's adventures in the Corporate Sector, so as not to interfere with the main Empire driven storyline, but they are some GREAT Star Wars Fiction.
It's from the same studio that did "Scavengers Reign" a couple years back. And that amazing shit looks like it was ripped straight out of a Möebius comic. Amazing style.
The only people still alive from OG Night Court are John Larouquette, Marsha Winfield, and Brent Spiner, unfortunately.
Pigs normally are the first thing you should look for when a ship goes down, as they float. That and chickens, as they float too. Here you have both in the same picture.
The difference here is that he's obviously threatening you with whatever lies on the other side of that paw...
Says the guy who ignores the entire country on the weekend so he can go golfing. What a complete shitheel.
My blood is worthless! Also, I can take all your blood! I'm also somehow 3.2% of the population! Modern day vampire, I guess.
I know we don’t want the gerontocracy, but Moulton described himself as a “Moderate”, so he wasn’t even in the ballpark of the kind of leadership that’s needed. I’m glad he lost— maybe he can actually listen to his potential constituents next time.
Do it on Kalshi, and maybe they'll eventually ban you like George Santos.
This is what she originally looked like:
This is what happened to the most public person who thought, "Yeah, I can take on a chimpanzee...". I relish this broccoli–haired fuckstick's opportunity to go the same way.
