I live in the South in a purple state. The only political commercials and ads I am seeing are for Reps. I have no idea where the Dem ads are or what they're doing, but they need to friggin' wake up.
This is a reminder to anyone buying a home (insert joke about no one being able to afford one here), home inspectors do NOT inspect much more than the maintenance history and if all the plugs work. Hire a licensed electrician and plumber to check the wiring and plumbing. ESPECIALLY IF ANYTHING IN THE HOUSE WAS DIY. Get any DIY triple checked. I have learned this stuff the hard way. The previous owners of my home were absolute morons, and I still find stuff they damaged years later.
I gotta admit that when I was allowed to pick myself as an adult, I did enjoy Thunder Mountain. But yeah, picking it as an adult was a big difference. Space Mountain kinda annoys me though because the dark makes it so you can't brace for an upcoming turn. Tweaked my back, but that may be my fault. Damn I'm old :P
I feel you man. I get that kids have to do things they don't want to sometimes. They gotta eat healthy. They gotta learn to clean up after themselves. But it's okay to not like roller coasters! Why so many adults back then thought they had to cure me of not liking them is beyond me.
Can we be clear that adults that force children who are terrified of roller coasters to go on them are assholes? Like, as a kid, I hated roller coasters, and if I ever mentioned that, it would SUMMON an adult who knew just the roller coaster to force me onto to change my mind. It never did, but it DID teach me never to trust adults, so maybe that was a plus. Also that racoon was cute.

On one side, you have the nightmare of the Israeli government's propaganda machine, and on the other you have very real anti-semites trying to ride justified criticism of the Israeli government in order to spread hatred of Jewish people rather than government actors. I feel like a paranoid mess sometimes, but that's how you stay informed I guess.

There is a Mattress firm near where I lived. I bought a mattress there because it was decent price, and the place was going out of business, so it was on sale! That was something like eight years ago. Wouldn't you know it, the place is still going out of business! What a long sale! I was younger and unaware of how much the business is a hustle. If you are new to shopping for a mattress, watch out for any place going out of business. It's a scam. Shop elsewhere. Learn from my mistake :P.
There were so many places you could have put the opening for the popcorn. Did the designer choose correctly? Objectively, Yes.

Both motives can be argued when it comes to the founding father depending on the man.

The film culminates in him telling his own son that he will always pick cooking over him, not being called out for it, and then having the one character that criticized him showing up to join in on the blowjobs by telling him he's awesome and then buying into his new restaurant. I like Jon Favreau, but it's one of the worst self-insert fantasies I have ever seen on screen.
I love to cook, and I hated that movie. The main character is one of the most self-obsessed, selfish assholes I've had to sit through being onscreen. The whole movie is different characters sucking the main character off for how great he is and how he cooks better than anyone. He has the audacity to get pissy when his exwife maybe had a boyfriend even when he's shagging Scarlett Johansson only to have his wife pat his head and promise she's stayed loyal to HIM.
They're cute when I ignore those things and enjoy the dopamine my brain releases when they squeak! Checkmate!

While I would say the overall performance of Constantine wasn't accurate to the book, you can feel a lot of moments in the movie where they get the comic spot on. This scene is when they got it almost perfectly. Killing himself to summon the devil in order to stop his son and THEN escaping torment by self sacrifice which John likely had no idea would work that way, and THEN flipping off the devil on the way out? Pure Constantine. As was the devil saving his life in the hopes of dooming his soul.
I would pay good money to go to that live action movie if you were to promise me that the entire time Alan Tudyk would be strutting around in a chicken costume, never breaking character. Imagine the Rock trying not to break while Alan Tudyk is pecking his face into the ground or crowing over the Rock's lines. That's money, my guys.
One can certainly criticize and question the loss of civilian life, but what often gets lost is that Dresden held over a hundred military factories, acted as a major transport hub for the military and concentration camps such as Auschwitz. It was a major support hub for the German military in several ways. Dresden WAS a military target, but HOW it was attacked can, at the least, be debated.

I work tech in poultry. I visited a hatchery when I started. One of the managers said that sometimes to cheer himself up he would fill a shoe box with baby chicks, go to the break room, and let them run around in his chest. I thought to myself that if that man doesn't know how to live, no one does.
And the sociopathy of ending it with how it affected the image of white people in Mississippi. Not the terror it spread through the black community, not the horror that the court case made it clear that the justice system gave a pass for murdering a black child. The focus here is on how it affects the image of white people and Mississippi. Evil. Just Evil.
Iran is not turning down the chance to take a journalist on a western channel and give him a curated tour for controlling the narrative. This war is bullshit, but let's not be on here pretending that the ruling power in Iran are anything other than the monsters they've shown themselves to be again and again. Even then, this conflict is still unnecessary and stupid and only to benefit old men who belong in the same jail as many of the leaders of Iran.
