It's a lot harder! Centre pin is 5 points, next two are 3 each, outer two are 2 each. So getting them all is 15 points instead of 10, perfect game is 450.
Canadian here, been in several leagues, most alleys are 10-pin (and no strings) with maybe a few extra lanes for 5-pin and other "curiosities".5-pin alleys do exist and seem to be more popular in smaller regions, but on the whole, they're outnumbered.
