I think they look "at the camera" in the end. I feel they might be more hurt mentally than physically.

Dot as one of the girls being saved, Lola could be Furiosa...

In the olden days, my dad told me, he used to take the empty eggshells back to the chicken farmer "to get filled up." The farmer crushed the shells and added them to the chicken fodder. It helped their calcium(?) intake and prevented feather loss. It's not the same as feeding the yolk back, but i think feeding the dead carcases back to the animals is not that uncommon (atleast it wasn't when more of animal fodder was made at the farm).
One of my main reasons for going vegan Is that i don't want animals to be used as a part of industrialised food production ad infinitum. Their conditions are often inhumane and the breeding for making milk etc. is a ghastly process. I don't really have a problem with eating meat, but the scale and current process is staggering. If animal product consumption would end overnight, the rest of the stock would be slaughtered and some might end their days as pets. And the world could start healing.

They don't want to use their own time to find if something is worthwhile. They only want to be handed one wow-effect after another, and influencers claim to sell those.
I'm all for it. This is exactly comparable to a slightly-athletic person buying a high-end carbon bicycle and a full team kit for weekend rides. Or restoring your first car even if it isn't a socially accepted restoration piece.If you have the money, you can invest in your hobby. For many of us, the hobby might be the main driving force in our lives.
