The last one is actually the one used in many classrooms in countries that are closer to the Pacific than to the Atlantic. Because it tells people from Indonesia that the shortest route to Mexico doesn't cross Africa.

They play them one by one to make the pain worse, and they are about to play the final one.

Yes, but this description seems to me to say "You know, Scrooge before meeting the Spirits was actually just doing business and being a cool guy, and it is entirely understandable why he's such a grumpy miser."

It has been used (elsewhere) to have it NOT rain on parades, at least in Beijing.

That doesn't look like a 200 card deck if you ask me.

How are there five +4 cards in that deck? Someone is cheating.

AI slop is AI slop.

What "esoteric"? This comic is about EVERY single piece of fact that "everyone knows". Such as "skin color comes from latitude because closer to the equator means harsher sun". Sure, the examples mentioned are "diet coke and mentos" and "the Yellowstone supervolcano", but it applies just as well to whatever you want. And maybe they were sick that day of school. Stop judging them, and be happy that someone learned a cool fact.

What people ACTUALLY hate one another over is "you don't belong here", and skin color becomes a proxy because it's just so goddamn visible.

They are engineering the weather, not the climate.

It's true that money doesn't bring happiness. However, a lack of money can sure as fuck deny you happiness.

It seems today was a bad day to be king.

On the carpet.

2000 Florida election, not 2020. Duh.

That being said, I am always open to the idea that it can pull in the other direction too. But at first glance that sounds like "video games cause violence" to me.

"Pretty sure" yeah, that's what I thought. And also, I'm not so much talking about outright prevention as I'm talking about just lowering the occurrence rate. If fictitious imagery (hand drawn or AI generated) lowers the amount of actual assaults by even a single case a year, then it is making the world a better place.

Are you absolutely sure about that? What if artificially generated sexualized imagery of fictitious children is an actual functioning outlet for people who would otherwise need to find other places to satiate their urges? (I don't know that that's the case, but you also don't know that it isn't.) Are you sure you want to deprive them of this and make them go elsewhere?

Yeah, and keeping anything sexual away from everyone who isn't an adult sounds really extreme, it's why I said that.

1 week ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Really? 18+? I can understand not wanting to do this in front of, like, 8 year olds, but come on. At 18 you're supposedly adult enough to see full-on hardcore porn (and even make it yourself), but some light touching of chest should be kept away from 17 year olds? That's just ridiculous.

Depends on the degree of the consent if you ask me.

Look at all the rest of the show once he starts going back to the ring. It's pretty darned sexualized. You know what you're bringing your kid to if you're bringing your kid there. As for the groping itself, it's two consenting adults having a good time.

You mean a lap dance? Are those bad now?

One has to wonder how the AI has the capability of making such material. Was there any in the training data? That being said, what's the difference between this and hentai drawings of underage subjects? Icky? Hell, yes. Should it be illegal? I don't think so.

(VIII* Its difficult to press buttons the right number of times on mobile. Besides, it has now been announced that the new king of Norway will indeed take the name Haakon VIII. To no one's surprise, really.)

1 week ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Besides, I'm certain Haakon VII is right, but I don't think it has been announced yet. If he takes after the Swedish king it could be Haakon VII Magnus. Or it could be Haakon Magnus I.

Which is why "The king is dead. Long live the king." is a thing. The two sentences refer to two different people.

Not in the woman chart. In the OP.

Ralph Nader (Green party) took home over 90 000 votes in the 2020 Florida presidential election, where Bush ultimately won over Gore by 537 votes (out of almost 6 million cast). Florida, being so close, was the last state to be decided (and recounted), and the outcome there decided the race. Yeah, that really showed the Democrats what's what!
