Well, so, plate covers that interfere with law enforcement ALPRs are illegal in a lot of places, but risking a fine doesn't seem unreasonable when the alternative is having all your movements tracked by the surveillance state

That's true in the daytime, but many of them have a ring of IR LEDs around the camera for nighttime image capture

I think it's just establishing that the rapist is initially in a different space, observing the victim

ALPRs use IR photography to find license plates, so unless this is reflective, it won't register at all

I'm in rural Appalachia, so my options for community celebration are limited. But I've made friends with the family that owns the local Mexican restaurant, and they've invited my partner and our landmates to the party they'll be throwing the day the pedophile conman shits his pants for the last time

It seems that even the best reviews say it's "fine"

I dunno about that. I'm pretty sure for most people it's attempted telepathy.

I suppose most of that's true, although I'd argue bullets and poison killed the folks at Jonestown. But I wonder, does anything materially distinguish prayer from other thought, or public prayer from regular ol' saying you hope a thing happens?

This is my best picture of my goblin baby being her bizarrely shaped self. She is not nearly as fat as she appears! Just weirdly round and short. Kind of a Jimothy situation

That's a good point.

Yeah, that is an excellent way to spread disease! When I'm pruning, I give my shears a quick wipe with rubbing alcohol between plants and can't remember the last time I spread something that way. Honestly, though, they look established enough that unless you're ripping off like a third of the foliage, they ought to be fine

Who cares what people pray for? It doesn't do anything.
