I no longer live in beautiful Southern California. I'm now in the PNW and hating it.
I mean, it certainly looked like he had enough time to let the guy in first. He was at the door before the guy even stood back up.
You can have them
It should be physically painful to be as stupid as these boomers are.
This entire administration needs to be tried for their crimes and put away for life.
That racist piece of shit needs to be behind bars.
What's the saying about a broken clock?
What I learned a little too late in life is that hard work isn't rewarded. Being good at your job isn't necessarily rewarded. Being intelligent isn't a guarantee either. No, the people that make the most money make it because someone else is using them to make even more.
I fully expect him to just self report one day by telling his follows about a time that he fucked a little kid because the dementia has completely destroyed any remaining ability he had to withhold information.
There's another post above this one where it says that Texas prisons are doing just that.
Shit. Same situation as us then.
Ireland, wtf? Why'd you sell that cunt a castle?
I don't even like regular sea bugs. This is a big HELL NAH from me.
And then hopefully charge everyone with treason. Anything less and we're just asking for it again.
As a society, we never should have moved beyond the computer lab stage.
If you check my comment history I explained elsewhere, but what is happening in the video is a price correction and has nothing to do with tipping or not. Shakes are now $6.49, not $5.99. My wife works for Shake Shack so I have first hand knowledge on the place, and being in close proximity to one, I tested it myself and was not prompted to pay more when I didn't tip. It's interesting that so many just blindly believed what the original video is claiming without any further information.
I've been giving factual information in all of my comments and they have all been down voted. Lol. I guess people just want to hate instead of being shown evidence that counters their views. Thanks for being a voice of understanding at least.
Managers do not get tipped out. They earn bonuses and are intelligible for tips.
As I've said elsewhere, this is a pricing correction issue. The shakes are not $5.99. They are $6.49. Which is what you see at the end.
The price change was because the shake doesn't cost $5.99. It was correcting that error. Has nothing to do with tipping or not. The price increase would have happened even if they did tip.
What?
Sorry, I guess there had to be a joke in th first place.
This is a pricing error correction. Shakes are now $6.49, not $5.99. That's what is happening in the video. It has nothing to do with tipping. Be mad at Shake Shack if you want, but at least be mad for factual reasons.
It's not the norm. This is a pricing error correction and has nothing to do with tipping. Wherever this location is, it's displaying the old price in the menu and correcting it at check out. It's a frustrating experience for sure, but it isn't the business trying to force tipping onto customers.
I'm at a Shake Shack right now and tested it myself and it's very obvious that what's happening in the video is a pricing error correction. Shakes are $6.49, not $5.99. It has nothing to do with tipping. This would have happened even if they had actually tipped.
They absolutely do. It's illegal to withhold it.
Congratulations, you believed something you saw on the Internet.
You can't franchise Shake Shack if that's what you're asking. Not within the US at least. All locations are owned and operated by Shake Shack corporate.
It's really interesting how my comments are upsetting so many people here. Apparently giving factual information is being a shill instead of jumping onto the hate bandwagon after seeing one video. It's interesting to see how easily it is to get you to think a certain way after receiving almost no information. Be smarter than that. That's how people get manipulated. Like almost everyone on this dumb thread was.
They do.
I should have been clearer. What specifically about tipping at a kiosk wage theft.
