I went down the cart variant rabbit hole & verified I have versions 1 & 10 of the gold cartridge. ?
He’s set to blink randomly, between 5-45 seconds.
Same. I was telling a coworker I did something X number of years ago in middle school—then realized middle school was an extra decade ago.
Yeah, the landlord at the time did not have the best taste in wallpaper—and we were broke, so we took whatever furniture we could get.
I did purchase patterns, but all the leather is hand stitched, mostly using upholstery leather scraps, but some faux leather leftovers too.
The cape is a wool blanket the GF sewed for me. The bag is Turkish army surplus. Grogu is a toy with an Arduino & servo added so he blinks.
Helmet, suit, gloves, boots, Grogu were purchased (all modified) everything else I printed, filled, sanded, painted. Painted helmet to match
Been invited to lots of Halloween parties. Always get overwhelmed/burned out at them. Sleep for days afterwards.
They’re just like flat Earthers. The evidence is definitely out there, just “do your own research” to find it.
The actual show armor used Alumiluster chrome paint, but that stuff is $80 for a 4 oz bottle! Alclad was close enough for half the price.
The biggest monetary investment for the entire build was the paint. Black lacquer, Alclad Chrome & 2K automotive clearcoat.
A decent amount, but not too terrible. Mostly time… it took the better part of a year to make.
In canon, I think they’re somehow registered to the target’s DNA. Mine is just a blinking LED.
You’re assuming retirement age will be lower than life expectancy by then
In the movie, the machine does ask for 25¢ more at one point when Louis is playing. So there is that.
It was made using a Cray X-MP, so it was cutting edge at the time. In the plot of the movie, it was an arcade game from another planet, too.
Officially, no. Though it was in the works. There is an excellent fan-made game by RogueSynapse, though.
Pretty fun, and extremely customizable with virtual dip switches. Even more fun with actual clicky mechanical joysticks.
This site was 100% a required resource for my own build.

And Polaroid film has always been more expensive for lower quality. Most of us had 110 or a 35mm point & shoot. 1 hour photo was more 90s.

I’d say so. I’ve spend more time just sanding on this project than entire other projects start to finish.

Nothing but short flings until my 40s. Just do what makes you happy, and do it for you.
