Agreed, but there are some celebrities/types of celebrities I'd rather see get paid this much than others and Tom Holland/actors in general are one of them.

Sadly, I think that either he or his handlers know *exactly* what that was and this is to prime their base for the inevitable claims of voter fraud if he loses Arizona.
I think Germany after WW2 is a better comparison, given that actually worked.
They can use all the AI they want, it's not gonna capture the magic. Gene Wilder's voice isn't why he nailed the role and Netflix doesn't have the balls to try.
That and educating to *educate* rather than educating to get good scores on tests.

They've shown their process - It's outlining the image, it's manually touching up what the AI gives them, it is someone that before AI was making images making full, realistic looking, TV episode length videos on the same topic, something they couldn't do before not because of a lack of *creativity* but because of a lack of tools. 99.9999% of people use it as a replacement, and that's very bad, but used as a tool it can be good.
AI can be used with creativity, it's a tool like any other. But I only know of one person who does that.
I'm pretty sure the idea is that it's accurate information just delivered in a dishonest way.
All corporations, not just AI ones.
Anyone who calls themself in alpha is correct, but not in the way they think they are.

I wouldn't say *all* excuses are pathetic - It's a tool like any other. But 99.9999999999999999% of people who use it - if not *more* - Do not use it like a tool, they use it like a replacement. I can only think of one person who doesn't - Before AI came out they drew pictures, now they can make a good looking >20 minute video. And they've shown their process, which shows there's still a lot of individual talent and work put in.
Anything can be a UFO if you're bad enough at identifying things.

While I agree, I think Buzzfeed in particular was the reverse - They went broke, then went AI as a last ditch cost cutting measure.
And that is why using AI for anything that *needs* to be trusted is stupid at best and dangerous at the far more common worst.
I don't think it's just about performance. Bit anecdotal but Call of Duty Ghosts had some of the biggest maps in COD history, easily big enough for shotguns to have a bit more realism - It's also one of the most disliked COD games and while the maps weren't the *only* reason, they were a big one.
Which I also didn't buy, but not because of pirating.
