Haha, I had no idea the origin went that far back. 4chan was kind of the birthplace of the modern incel neckbeard community, so I can get why some wires might cross there, but 4chan also gave the world “I can haz cheezeburger” cat and a million other memes. And the idea of Chris being invested in who his sister hooks up with is so deeply ridiculous that it is of course hilarious and I don’t think one needs to be a neckbeard to acknowledge that is funny
I agree it is weird. Don’t know if you gotta be an incel / neckbeard in order to push the belief. People will ship the protagonist with literally any other character they find attractive. There are people who ship Chris and Leon together. But yes. I agree it is weird because he has expressed as much romantic interest in Claire as he has Chris and men are in fact capable of having platonic female friends. Meanwhile, he gets weak in the knees any time Ada so much as glances in his direction.

But if you search Google, a .gov link appears for it (preview text doesn’t redact Trump’s name), however clicking Google link takes you to Page Not Found.. so when people saw through redaction, they removed it from the website entirely.

There do exist other people’s names which were redacted but are not victims — for example the name of a police chief who was quoted in an article. I suspect they asked AI to redact anything that sounded like a name with the exception of a short list of people they didn’t mind throwing under the bus and then removed redactions for things they thought mentioned Trump in a way they could dismiss so it wouldn’t be super obvious they were protecting pedos. Either way. They are protecting pedos.
I don’t know that it is (guy isn’t a prolific emailer), but whoever these names belong to, the Trump admin felt the need to redact their names
Certainly my first thought but I believe a bunch of attorneys and judges have seen the files and will cry foul if there is stuff missing. Trump is saving face because he knows GOP will go against him in the vote and he wants to seem like he was not losing control of the party.

I can feel bad that he got embarrassed in that I have empathy and can imagine times when I have spouted off my big mouth and embarrassed myself — but we should also be a little grateful when the universe makes us pay a proportional consequence for our behavior because if that never happened to us as kids, we might grow up to be pretty shitty people. So here is hoping that he never does any series of things this dumb again.
Eh. Compassion is important. This was proportionate consequence of his actions. Someone shouts a derogatory slur at a crowd of people—he is lucky for consequence to be having his glasses snatched. If I go up to the klan and say “f**k you” and the worse thing that happens is a child snatches my hat and runs away — I should leave and call the cops not chase them down. Everything after that was a snowball of his own ego. Our laws don’t protect people from getting hurt when chasing others.
Protests aren’t elections. They never have been. Selma’s protest in 1965 attracted just 600 people. Inspired, 25,000 completed the final march. The more inspired the more the people with the tear gas realize they don’t have enough tear gas in the world to handle the 5 million who protested in June (today’s is supposed to be bigger). These protests are in all 50 states. Red and blue — this is a friendly reminder that they are outnumbered. They don’t want an unfriendly one.
You think the guy who is so thin skinned that he has been trying to threaten TV networks because comedians made jokes about him, and threatening the UN because he looked dumb on an escalator — doesn’t care that 2,600 different protests across all 50 states are calling him out in what is already speculated to be among the largest protests in human history? …

I would not be shocked if Trump starts sending fans of satirical film commentary to gulags next as I am about 80% sure that the reason he keeps saying that Mexico is emptying out their asylums and sending their insane people here is because he got confused by the term “asylum seekers.”
