Just your average Imgur lurker who loves to meet people on here. Message me if you want to talk.
makes sense, good to know for when I go over to PA, make sure to fill up before I leave.
No, I just like seeing her happy even if I didn't cause it. It's not complex or a failing on me. I never thought cheating was unforgiveable.
Wow, thanks. Apparently, I just don't love my wife enough to not be mad/upset if she sleeps with someone else.
Most successful polyamorists I know are older than me. Anyway, I dont think we're going to convince each other but thanks 4 being reasonable
They generally overlap but BDSM can ALSO be stable and healthy. Differentiate between "won't work for me" and "can't work for anyone".
It's individual, I rarely feel jealous which is why this works well for me. Others are like that as well.
Well yea, the idea is just that, that's "okay" and things can ebb and flow. People give and get what they want/need from whoever they want.
There isn't an easy word for "consensual extra-marital relationship" affair was shorter if not as accurate in its connotations.
Lots of people have had lots of success with it. There have been problems as well but any relationship has those.
Wow didn't realize it was such a difference. I live on the Jersey side of the border. Does it still save money after paying the toll?
But it let's them know the thing exists which might help them communicate what they want better to avoid commiting to something they can't.
Maybe what I would rather teach kids is communication techniques. Poly people seem better able to communicate because they have to be.
Thanks for the support, but I've gotten this exact response before whenever I bring up non-monogamy on this site.
They can if we tell them the difference. Kids are adaptable. They think affairs are bad because we tell them it is. They can learn otherwise
I never said in class, but "jealousy" is taught at a young age, why can't we teach that it's not required.
B/c we're taught relationship=exclusivity. So when that's broken people get hurt. If they realize that monogamy is a choice they can decide
We still teach kids that same sex coupling's okay despite it being a minority. Many poly people I talk to say they dealt w/ hate and shame.
I agree the term is not ideal but that and polyphilia just sound wrong since their English meanings have deviated differently from the roots
Heck that's good enough for me. Right now everyone seems to be looking for "the one" and most never find that so just end up depressed.
People need to know that it's okay to feel a certain way and right now being poly comes with a lot of guilt because "why can't I commit?"
The idea is more would be okay with it if it was seen as "normal" or "acceptable"

First time seeing this and it's awesome. Keep up the good work.
This looks so much like my own dog I thought the dog sitter was posting pics of him for points
I noticed the height changing thing but I didn't realize how much of easier it would make it. I wanted to go short so it lasted longer.
Knowing how to mow a lawn & knowing how to handle a lawn that got out of hand are two different skills. Mowing is simply vacuuming the lawn.
I never said it was the 1st time, I said I hadn't cut it in awhile. And I'm not sure why bringing up farmers is relevant.
The house was move-in ready and I have enough disposable income that I can hire professionals to help when I have a bigger issue.
Thanks for the advice.
