It's nowhere near 3 feet long.

There were so many hands in places I wouldn't put my dick in that video - bad safety culture there, for sure.

We have the largest air force in the world. And the 3rd, 4th, and 5th largest.

I hate comments like this, because this is entirely believable, and should be lauded... This is the result of dedicating years of your life to developing a skill. I don't just mean "doing a thing for years" I mean specifically working hard to improve your skills, slowly and methodically, with purpose.

This didn't just happen, it's not unbelievable; this is specifically what happens through hard work, dedication, and perseverance.

Alright, so there's two things going on here.
1) When you use a tool casually, what it makes is less accurate than the tool. But you can use a tool to make something MORE-accurate, if you do so with care. That more accurate tool is more useful.
2) Most of the people watching wood working videos are wood workers, and wood workers always want new tools and then they need better storage so thise are the videos that get more views.

I resent that... I mean... you're not wrong, but I still resent it.

Back in high school I was a percussionist... In one 8 song performance I played a total of 34 different instruments, usually playing multiple instruments at the same time.

TL;DR - I can pat my head and rub my belly at the same time SO HARD.

I could tell it's real because he lost control of his face. That was a man with a singular focus.

He seems to have a similar policy to my own "Do your best to never be a dick by accident"

From the snow belt. Worst I had was -26F and a wind-chill of -45F; we got 6' of snow in a couple days - you never forget hearing a weatherman utter the words "frostbite inside of your lungs"

Not a gymnast, but a guy who did a lot of sports, especially bouldering - Most of those falls suck, but are fine if you're smart, but goddamn, those ripped callouses... I felt that in my soul: that hurts so badly, every time, and keeps hurting while you get them back.

I realize this is arguably a "no true scottsman" but the core credo of punk agrees with OP.

People who were core to the punk movement not fully confirming to punk ideology doesn't change what punk is about.

As an engineer this is now my new favorite example for "tools don't care when you're in the way"

The only thing Trump could do that would be surprising, would be if he were to have a well-reasoned and nuanced discussion. It could be on literally any topic like "Do people deserve to die for being poor" or "what's the best cheese" - they'd be equally as surprising to me.

Common Ground Games does tons of events and gaming nights, and you may be able to join a group there.

DFW Nerd Night is a non profit gaming group and a solid way to meet other gamers in the area.

There are some DND FB groups for DFW to find a group.
There's tons of options to find people to play with here.

It makes me happy that this exists - how have I never seen this before?!?!

It's proper etiquette. Window seat gets the window, aisle seat gets the aisle to stretch their legs. Middle seat gets both armrests. That's how it works.

I put a lot of work into designing those seats - I'm glad you like them ๐Ÿ˜Ž

(2/2) replaceable hot-ends. This is the 2nd design and they both work really well so far. Making a Chimera mount is next on the list.

I designed the whole printer to use as little plastic as possible (I'm under 300 grams for the whole thing) and to have easily (1/?)

It's this how you make the unilateral phase detractors?

Unfortunately there are a lot of industries that don't have a significant presence there. Otherwise I would.
