Are you at the U of M hospital (East Bank)? My dad was in UMMC 4E this summer and you look awfully familiar.

Huh, weird... I don’t see death of a loved one on here. It’s like mental health is complex and we shouldn’t over-simplify it or something...

All jokes aside I wonder if he was being like that to encourage you to move on, knowing how his condition would change things?

Wielding a pair of scissors (up to his neck, I believe) because the teacher wouldn’t “get off his case” (aka wanted to make sure he passed)

School locked down with cops called one day. Turns out one of the most universally loved teachers was being threatened by a kid 1/2

I hate the roller pump circuits... too flimsy.

Is that a roller pump, or centrifugal? We use centrifugal, but accept bridge to tx from other facilities (local tx center).

Please feel free to reach out to me in a message if you have any questions or if you want to vent. ECMO is amazing and also terrifying. 2/2

@OP I work in a CICU as a respiratory therapist and ECMO specialist, and my father was on ECMO this summer. 1/2

You can tell from the way it shoots out with each beat that it's arterial blood. It's possible the piercer nicked a superficial artery.

@op I just lost my Dad two weeks ago. Heartbroken doesn't cover it. I feel like there's a giant wound in my soul that will never heal

100%, but doesn't that mean she would be better off if placed with someone who would train and give rules/coping skills to this anxious dog?

I did. He was in the ICU on machines for two weeks. For the last four days he was awake enough for us to tell him how much we loved him.

I believe he was more of a legs man, though being his daughter we didn't discuss tits too much

He died a day before my brother's birthday. And my brother is also deployed. And they're not letting him come home for the funeral.

What a beautiful idea. Thank you

I never knew. He just liked sending gifs of dogs to us to make us smile

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He taught me so much. I don't feel like there was a craft we shared, but we loved the same shows and movies.

Doggos mostly. He was a big softie.

Looks more like decorticate than fencing to me

I saw them in real life one day at a bar and I was only barely sober enough to not totally loose it.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but why did he pick up his phone to record this when the kid started crying instead of just consoling him???

My cat leaves turds outside of the litter box only if we were out of town for a night and he's pissed he didn't get cuddles.

+1 for your username. Fucking cake eaters.

I wouldn't say it's a pissing match, I would just say objectively 40 vs -40 is an 80 degree difference. You can't quite compare the two.
