Are you at the U of M hospital (East Bank)? My dad was in UMMC 4E this summer and you look awfully familiar.

All jokes aside I wonder if he was being like that to encourage you to move on, knowing how his condition would change things?
Wielding a pair of scissors (up to his neck, I believe) because the teacher wouldn’t “get off his case” (aka wanted to make sure he passed)
School locked down with cops called one day. Turns out one of the most universally loved teachers was being threatened by a kid 1/2
I hate the roller pump circuits... too flimsy.
Is that a roller pump, or centrifugal? We use centrifugal, but accept bridge to tx from other facilities (local tx center).

You can tell from the way it shoots out with each beat that it's arterial blood. It's possible the piercer nicked a superficial artery.
@op I just lost my Dad two weeks ago. Heartbroken doesn't cover it. I feel like there's a giant wound in my soul that will never heal

I did. He was in the ICU on machines for two weeks. For the last four days he was awake enough for us to tell him how much we loved him.
I believe he was more of a legs man, though being his daughter we didn't discuss tits too much
He died a day before my brother's birthday. And my brother is also deployed. And they're not letting him come home for the funeral.

He taught me so much. I don't feel like there was a craft we shared, but we loved the same shows and movies.

My cat leaves turds outside of the litter box only if we were out of town for a night and he's pissed he didn't get cuddles.

I wouldn't say it's a pissing match, I would just say objectively 40 vs -40 is an 80 degree difference. You can't quite compare the two.
