I haven't looked into it yet so it could be bullshit (the article, I already know the claim is bullshit) but apparently Altman is claiming that they've achieved AGI. And it's like... Fucking how? There's nothing there to achieve intelligence.
That's because Isreal is doing the one thing the Nazis never did to ensure our undying loyalty and support. They give us money. Piles and piles of money.
Fun fun fact: If you don't have a bag, wrapping a device in a couple of layers of aluminum foil is an excellent alternative to such bags for the more DIY screen time reducers.
Taking care of our people is too expensive....BTW we need another 500 billion dollars for our military because our defense contractors don't have high enough profits this year yet.

"Gerry Morris, the man’s defense attorney, said he was baffled by the suggestion that his client got any kind of special treatment and that misdemeanor plea deals are not uncommon in child sex abuse cases."Gee, maybe that's a part of the GOD DAMN PROBLEM.
Even the lowest workers deserve love and kindness. <3 I love this
It'll be convoys of trans people coming to read books to their children or some shit this time... Even if it's the same footage they've used for years.
Aoght, that's my bad. But let's be real. Call center ain't a job. It's hell. /s
This is what really gets me. When did we fall into this weird mindset that you need to be actively working every single second? I have never seen, nor heard of any job where any single individual is doing non-stop tasks for the full 8 hours. Even manual labor like farming or construction has plenty of downtime per person... Hell, I automated most of my job in the Navy as an IT. I just ran scripts and batch files to do what I needed 95% of the time. I only "worked" when something broke.
My friend... Dot heads, red dots, sniper targets... Those are all slurs used against Indians. Maybe your "friends" don't mean it that way, but that doesn't change the fact that it's a slur. Or maybe your friends are just assholes. I've never heard the Ojibwe and other Three Fires tribes people refer to Indians as anything but Indians or, if there's chance of confusion... Indians from India.
What? Who fed you such bullshit and why didn't you ever bother to question it? They most certainly do not call Indians by a slur.
We were never meant to hold onto this constitution for so long in the first place. Even the founding fathers talked how it would likely be replaced at least once every generation as the world evolved. Problem is, we've blown passed our window to fix this mess. Could you imagine the absolute *insane* shit they'd try to shove into a new constitution today? I honestly don't see how any of this downward spin ends without the US splitting or dying anymore.
That's the enlisted oath. Officers never swear to the president, only the constitution.I ___, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
A request to be notified that you can opt out of at any time isn't spam, you nincompoop.
I have said for years that transphobes think about trans genitals more than trans people and homophobes think of gay sex more than gay people. They claim we "make it our personality" when we're open and upfront about things (let's ignore the "you're a liar/manipulator" if we DON'T be upfront but whatever) and yet these bigoted morons will be the first to bring it up at any opportunity just to be able to punch down and flaunt their "superiority". Is exhausting, man.
Wolves didn't need to change nearly as much as many people think to become domesticated. They practically domesticated themselves with only a little encouragement from us.
This is the heart of it. Trans people alone could be 25% of the population but it wouldn't make a lick of difference until we can get rid of legal bribery.
Lucky bastard. I moved 2020 right before the pandemic. First house. ALL large appliances were less than 5 years old at the time. I've had to replace both the W&D and Fridge in that time. Meanwhile my bestie is still using a fridge she inherited from her grandmother. AND it gets colder than mine!
This kind of stuff is what makes me wonder why they dont just have a clear panel there. Seeing it would make so much sense.
Sorry, that was too much text. Can you redo it in a 10-second vertically recorded video and also tell me how to feel about what you said? Thanks!
And sometimes even the ones that do.
WHAT?
You cannot tell me that generative AI has literally gotten people killed with this kind of shit.
I mean, by that token it was good luck the humans were there to build a ramp, thus it's still natural selection! Every rule should have exceptions and should be weighed constantly against evolving (heh) circumstances. If there were seal lions or something waiting for the penguins to die for a feast, then I'd disagree but the way it played out, total support for empathetic humans.
That's what annoys me when dipshits like this say similar things. "Oh, hindsight! If only we'd known!" just once I want someone to call their bullshit and be like "Except people did warn about this. Here's an exampleAnd another. And another. Why did you ignore them?"
Into the sun.
And again, that study does not say "stop all surgeries" it says that better education, post-care, and communication is what's needed. Because again, we understand how beneficial overall surgeries can be *compared* to the drawbacks we've found. You say data interpretation but then take each "problem" in complete isolation as evidence our current approach is wrong or bad? I know MANY trans folk who would gladly give up sexual functions just to have a body they're comfortable with. Risk vs reward.
Surgery is VERY likely to cause greater backlash from those social circles. I can show dozens of studies that reveal a link between social non-acceptance and depression /suicide rates in trans people, so there's no reason to think that couldn't be amplified by the decision to get surgery. You can't look at a single study and make sweeping conclusions. You have to look for the WHY of things, not just the A -> B results.
All studies are biased, that's why we do them multiple times with different researches and demographics. If you think GAS is "grafting body parts around" then you should probably read up on it, unless that was just a poor wording choice. As for that study, notice how it doesn't say we should stop surgeries completely. It even says there are benefits to it. Also, read the background again. Think that might have something to do with it? If social support is questionable to begin with, getting
