BTW, this is by no means criticism aimed at OP; I think it was fantastic managing to keep that little guy alive from day 1!

Aside from 'jabbing yea or nay', amazing how easily people relinquish freedom of personal choice to their governments these days.

It is what it is. I thought it would be a good lesson for her to learn that not everybody can be manipulated. I wish it was different, yes.

She doesn't let me in her personal life (17) because she knows I know her. Moved out early; I only see/hear her when she needs something./2

She aced a test by author Kevin Dutton while attending a meeting with him, scored the highest of all. Proud Mom? No. But I knew already./4
It progressed from there. And the tantrums when things didn't pan out the way she wanted them, OMG! Her father is a diagnosed narcissist/3
At age 3, flawlessly picking out the oldest and most influential person at a family gathering, ignoring the rest; showered with attention/2
Hindsight is 20/20, right? At 4mths (!) in baby carrier, smiling at man over my left shoulder, then angry look at his wife over my right./1

My daughter is a sociopath, which basically means she lacks empathy. Very socially skilled, but only in order to get what she wants.
