If the quality of unfocused courses not required for a specifics of an art degree arr sufficient, why do we have other degrees? In fact, why do we have an art degree in the first place if what you get from those and what you get from an art degree are comparable? Is advocating education. Not advocating art education or the relevance of an art degree and why it matters. You're conflating the two to prop up your original point, which is there is value in the art degree. So I'll ask again in case you don't want to go back to the original comment. What makes that specific degree different from another degree given in both you can be educated in art and non art related things?
You still did not answer my original question. You claim Google to be a poor teacher, and you're right, but there are other sources to teach you that exist on the internet. Books exist on the internet. Tutorials and history exist on the internet. In the same way you can get a dog professor ay a university, you can also find amazing resources on the internet at large. Or in a library. The difference as I said before is you can show your ability with the arts without the degree. All you're doing
To clarify a bit more, for the required courses for that end goal of an art degree what are you getting to differentiate from other ones? Why is THIS the recourse? Why do you HAVE to go to college for this? Why is this notion of education locked behind debt and a structural system that does not need to be there for something rooted in creativity? Do you think art degrees and other creative degrees are how you get the left image instead of the right? It's not. You feed into commoditization of art

You can't blanket education in that way. What does someone pick up and learn during a 4 year art degree outside of general learning tools required to get through that degree? College is meant to develop knowledge and sharpen skills. An artist can sharpen their skills anywhere, at any time, especially with the internet. The same can be said for other degrees... mostly. The big difference is subjectivity and you can show your ability in a portfolio with art. College is not the only avenue of edu.

We voted and lost again and have now sat and watched for a full year, yet again hoping for peaceful resolution. All the while it snowballed. Do you suggest another four years? Don't know if you noticed, but they are making shit up to do what they want. It doesn't matter if they have some excuse they can point to or not. Look at history: Non violence does not fix things when dealing with unreasonable, violent people. You cannot talk to them. You cannot use a system they control to remove them. You cannot expect someone to come save you because they think your worth saving. We didn't start with violence, but we shouldn't disappear without it.
You do not have to continue to do retail management. 14 years of management experience. You have e LOADS of transferable skills from that. Branch out into other industries with your applications

Yea, you're right. I have a lot of built up fear and panic. I also always feel like when I look around I'm hurting the people I work with and that tears me up.

Wisconsin isn't too far from me. I knew a woman who worked there. She and I went through some robotics service training in Franklin, MA a couple years ago. I just am not certain if I can afford to move too far financially or emotionally.
Yea. Part of the last few years has been me being forced to do something I don't know how to do. That's how I learned SQL and VBA. The tweak was something I considered because data science can be done online.

Ignoring being far away from the friends that I do have, it costs a lot to move and will probably wipe out my savings. I'm very afraid of being in that position.
I have, moving distances costs quite a bit. It makes me feel like I'm resetting towards any goals of stability. Weed business for labs is also extremely unethical. You almost don't get business if you don't fake microbial results or inflate potency
Michigan. It's also unfortunately not the mecca of biochem. The jobs are few and far in between with crazy requirements
I unfortunately save doesn't do much for private loans. I want a state job because they pay great and are stable. They'd help me get my federal loans forgiven too. Thanks for your words of encouragement! I need them.
I'm hoping that's the case, but she was doing well there. Immediately got comfortable, walking around my parents without trouble. Remembered the basement and them. Went to her normal spots there to watch the critters in their yard.

Unfortunately the current vaccines aren't remotely as effective at prevention against Omicron. They are still effective at symptom reduction
