His is escapist.
I've thought about telling him that he needs ti get his ass in counseling if he's making me do it. Maybe less depression will make him try.

I already know that he also suffers from depression. We got that out of the way when we met.
Then he needs to not demand that I stay alive for him.
I've talked to him and he has, from the beginning, acknowledged that he is. But he won't do anything about it.
I ask him and he either says everything is fine or that I'm "not the only person going through depression"

He's been encouraging me to go to counseling and has stayed with me knowing that I feel like life isn't worst it and I might kill myself.

Yeeeeeah....this isn't a Dragon Age reference and I'm kinda sick of those games because of it.
Unfortunately there are still people who don't count emotional abuse as abuse...
My dad literally said "no you're not" and told me I was full of shit when I told him I was afraid of him when I was 5.
Between lanes is annoying, but it's the ones that weave through tight traffic that piss me off. Being ABLE to fit doesnt make it smart to do
