The world needs more "haha" and even more nuance.

Here, let's sell you these machines capable of copy/paste and connect them to a network of other copy/paste machines but DON'T COPY AND PASTE WITH THEM NO NOT LIKE THAT--this is the common thinking of digital "licensing". When digital wealth can be straight up copied so easily, why does everyone think that some kind of forced commoditization is going to solve things? We need a massive rethinking of how we approach information assets which can be digitized and spread so easily.

It is a tough world out there, so the best I can offer might just be: if your choices are in question, even to wear goggles, perhaps utilize that same tool of choice in a manner which similarly satisfies whatever goal you wish to achieve, to minimize risk to ALL parties, including yourself. I can't speak for you, so do with that what your skillsets reveal to you is safest, with maximum impact.
Ah late stage capitalism... you never fail to demonstrate how you attack the community by your design. Post industrial revolution and post internet age, the relics of your ugliness persist, failing to update yourself to reflect the higher wisdom: all efforts in society are interconnected and individual output is superceded by community gains. But no, we have to compete against one another for the things we need *prior* to work... because "reasons". Paradigm shift is far too late. Burn it down.

I watched the first two and decided I had my fill of seeing terrible destruction, but I was scrolling to comments and had to stop at that one. "That's the fricken EARTH, bro!" just escaped me. The scale of something like that. Heartbreaking.
Apparently it's whatever they had yesterday.
It starts with better social education and a system which provides equity to all of its members, not just those who luck into money or positions. Law defines criminals, but hunger and oppression picks up the crowbar.

The irony, as just yesterday I was looking up crash codes for event viewer and the damn "Microsoft Learn" article had a "summarize for me" AI button. ALL of the articles did, as it was built into the template. While I definitely didn't press it, it did remind me that the purpose of AI summaries is so undefined and wildly unnecessary. I don't need a summary to a solution, I need to get in there and do the actual reading so I can find one. So, really a pot calling kettle black situation.

It's almost as if faceless corporations shouldn't be granted free access to the kind of information you wouldn't want an ex-lover (or stalker) to have. HMMMM.

A screenshot of social media is not a source. I did do a DDG search and found several news sites covering it, including CNN, The Guardian, AE TV, and even Breitbart, March 2026. Seems it's true. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, but please post a source, next time!
The shitty part is, the math just works out that way. People who don't kill generally preach peace, not killing things. Those who do kill will preach whatever, and they will not be the same person. Statistically, if all "choices" are going to happen, at least a non-zero time, we can probably assume that a killer will eventually kill a peaceful person.

This applies on a personal or collective level. This kind of rhetoric needs to *stop*. There was nothing stopping them from doing nothing in the first place, now there's nothing stopping them from doing "something". You have to find your way of being that "something" in front of that "something".
I absolutely love it and hope you never skate on it. I don't want to be there when a failed 360 kickflip turns this art piece into 2 or 3 art pieces from the rage, alone. Beautiful piece.
Example of good soundtracking: Brooklyn 99. Despite being a comedy, it has some real moments interlaced throughout the series. The soundtracking comes to a near-if-not-total hault for these real, honest moments and it just works 2000% better. You slip just briefly out of your smiles and fall gently into these "oh no what's actually wrong" moments inside of YOU, and not just inside your ears. The actors in B99 do what the music is supposed to, and provide that emotion for you.
Example of bad soundtracking: Any of the recent CBS Star Treks. Literally *every scene* in Strange new worlds (up to mid-season 3--I couldn't tell you past that; I just gave up after the body swap episode) has this subtle, guiding soundtracking of some kind. It doesn't give you a moment to breathe, and the characters feel flat behind it as a result. The frickin' calliope music during that body swap episode didn't feel unnecessarily silly at all times and shoehorned in... no....
