I tried it aaaaages ago and at the time it seemed thin and very janky and sort of disappointing. It looks like it's been heavily updated since then, I'm curious to try it again my own self.
I can't even say I watched the whole thing, I mostly skimmed through it just to see if it was as bad as people said and I don't think there was any message or any point. It was literally just torture porn and only didn't qualify as a true snuff film because it was technically fictional and using actors. Maybe that was the point, they wanted to see how close they could get to actually filming torture and getting away with it.
It's absolutely horrifying in a way that will make you lose sleep.

I had to cackle laughing at his "this isn't a debate" point because why else comment if not to interact with people? It was clear from the comment he deleted that he's one of those libertarian chuds who wants to spew his dogshit opinions without any push back and that's coward behaviour. I toured through his profile out of curiosity and I don't think he actually believes in anything, he just likes pretending to be correct and deleting everything before anyone can point out how wrong he is.

I read a quote once years ago and I can't remember now what it's from but it goes, "When tact, diplomacy and threats of violence fail, it may be time to demonstrate your level of commitment."
Seconded and adding that a no fly zone would cut Alaska off from the rest of the US and stopping all crossings would stop people from both countries getting to work and school as there are multiple places where the border cuts through the middle of a town.
Don't be too hard on yourself though, you couldn't have known how things would go and we were all mesmerized by the screaming lunatic just because he was so different from what we were used to. Back in the 80's he was considered pretty progressive, all things considered.
