Which is reassuring cause that's not a valid French sentence. You should say "Mange de la merde et crève". But nobody would even say that, this is an American expression. Why not using the simple-but-always-efficient "Va chier" (literally "Go shit") ?

Problem is, the pilots do have lost contact with the passengers. But it doesn't mean the passengers should be taking uninformed decisions,though. Come to think of it, that's some false alternative we've given here. Strong "don't the System, it's the only one possible" propaganda vibes.
