Don't get me wrong I think this was a great article for anyone looking to join the field, just disagreed with the degree part
which is pretty much what I did except IA didn't exist when I started IT 16 years ago
You can get in the door with just a few certs but if you want to advance your position or pay you have to have a degree
Been in IA for 6+ years. I disagree with the degrees though. Certs and experience are mostly to hold your job degrees are your pay scale 1/2
