I think that's Borborygmos it's a DnD and MTG crossover mini from the Wizkids Magic Unpainted line.
I've followed those steps for sure, I've been doing cider for a while but have little experience with mead on any complex level.
I'm doing my first mead, any tips?

Me neither. Rereading the first book after finishing the second opens it up so much and let's you see how well planned it all seems to be.
