That's as far as they go, and that's all they need, because their voters don't actually punish them for being inconsistent or hypocritical. As long as THEY are in power and Democrats aren't, they're fine with it. At least, that's how it looks to me.

I hope you can also plug in at home; best time to charge a car is while you're sleeping and it's parked :)
