I saw a documentary about Golden snub nosed monkeys. The main focus was on the "heir"of the male troop leader. I think they called him little prince or something. Anyways, his dad is killed so the troop is taken over by another male and he's basically run off. It's snowing most of the time, he needs his mom, he's hungry... he runs into her and he legit cried like a child and she held him so tight for just a moment before running off with her new troop. He went into a tree and just cried & cried.
If it was a guy having sex with an intellectually handicapped woman, people would be outraged. Most people are mad that Jenny didn't continue a relationship with Forrest. It would be the opposite if genders were reversed.
That's common bear behavior. Male bears commonly prey on cubs, it's why they climb trees and why their mothers are so protective.

Welcome to the American legal system. That's just how it is, liability is determined in most accidents through insurance. Like someone rear ending you isn't some maniac, you might have just stopped short and surprised them. They're still liable. Most pedestrians struck by vehicles are not liable, and while the drivers may not be found /criminally/ liable, they'll be found /civilly/ liable. You don't have to assign good or bad. No one is ruled as such, rulings are about culpability, not morality

So, having worked in a casino, this is a slot tournament, it's a timed event where you have to win as much as you can. Hence the tapping. Now, casinos 100% take advantage of people and old people lose their entire retirements, but most don't play this intense because there's little rituals like screen touching, changing bets, etc. Keno is super popular and much slower.
I only vote for democrats. I said I made it so my phone doesn't show political messages, like on Imgur. There's better ways to consume news (imgur is for cute cats imo). The biggest issue is the people in control want us divided. We're on the same side, and I got ripped apart. How are we supposed to move forward as a country and heal? When we reduce people to just stereotypes, it strips away their humanity and makes it easier to hurt them.

Jobs aren't really what makes them suck, it's middle management and their ego trips. I've worked house keeping and it is looked back as one of my favorite jobs. It was super satisfying, I was left alone. I enjoyed my coworkers. The job where I was making 3x as much, I fucking hated. My manager was a dick and the work was beyond depressing. Very hard to come to terms with people being dicks to kids because no one gives a damn. Good management would have fixed it though, but $$ > basic empathy.

In resiliency studies, the biggest factor for kids seems to be having one adult in their life that cares for them, that they can trust and is consistent. Which is difficult, if not impossible, for foster children to attain. Kids are lost to and failed by the system all of the time. Anyways, you can be resilient and successful and still need therapy. Therapy is not for "failed" people. Sometimes, people just need help w/ communication skills. You don't need to have a mh dx to benefit from therapy
Money didn't make me happier. I've been homeless, now I'm in the 10% (gag). I'd trade it all just to have my brother back. But yeah. I guess I can buy the new switch at whatever price point. So I guess I've got that going for me.
