Just a weirdo looking for another weirdo to do weird things with.
90% of the students (around 40 or so students total) in my EMT course only had a high school diploma. There were even two high schoolers in the course that were 18 years old. I was one of three that had a college degree. Not saying education is critical to situational awareness, but there is a correlation considering I was also one of three that was still employed as an EMT a year later from that same group.

The only times in my life that I nearly drowned was cause of those wave pools. The only reason I was ever in them was cause that my dad's company designed them and he was part of the team (he only created certain components, not the design).

Remember a year ago, the administration (touted by Trump himself) said they would likely take 20% of the "savings" and give it back to the people as a stimulus check. Of course, Bessent immediately pulled that back saying the services we already pay for is where that money will go...except it didn't. Instead, the money went to ICE.
Depends on the weight of the trucks and wheel type. That's what will weigh down the deck, which would normally float on it's own.

To be fair, the same thing happened to me during a bachelor party while I was in vegas. We were in a nightclub ordering our fourth bottle and then I blinked and we were having waffles at IHOP.Maybe I should run for Congress.

Oh wow, I never thought about the can opening thing. That changes perspectives for me with my sister's dog. She's a rescue also and flinches at specific sharp noises, no matter the volume or distance of the sound. Now I'm gonna be more aware next time it happens.
This is the same guy that married a Mexican woman and still is against interracial marriage.
I kinda wonder similar with my dog. The family he came from fell apart a couple years after I got him. I know the husband was abusive, but not to what extent (police were not involved, so I assume not physical, but I could still be wrong).So now if anyone ever wants to give me a hug, he gets very protective. He doesn't care who's around me, but "no touching"
I mean, legally, he was harassing him. Repeatedly, continuously, and in front of witnesses. He kept circling around him, cutting off his methods of walking away. While a good lawyer could argue that even a single means of exit nullifies self-defense, this video easily would convince a jury.
Nah, he sniffed his human's face to check on him and then used his body to cover his human's body as protection. We really don't deserve these wonderful creatures.
There's a difference between being powerless to do anything and allowing others to do things. They are complicit because they are spineless. That is a totally different issue than what I'm talking about.
That's the same fearmongering that got us to where we are. The idea that we can't survive Donald Trump after surviving worse is wild to me.
Basically meaning if a MAGA person decided to complain about their grocery bills, you can call them a liar. If they have issue with that statement, point out that the President agrees. Then make some popcorn and enjoy the mental gymnastics.
If the fact that his lies never matter, then his words do not matter. He can literally say what he wants (as we tend to see with his dementia ramblings) and there will never be any reprecussions.
