Also often ERA, explosives mounted onto the armor to defeat things like missiles and rockets. as well as APS or Active Protection Systems.
The British like to use a round which requires spin to maintain accuracy, most everyone else don't use that round type and use smoothbore.
to have access to supply lines in the case of Soviet incursions into the Fulda Gap; the engines work fine and do what they need to.
Because you can put damn near anything in it and burn it, IIRC it was a precaution taken based on fears that some tanks wouldn't be able 1/2
I think that might be down to the time scale, Leo 2's have been around since the early 80's, the T-90 is a 90's tank. Still odd though :/
I'm slightly disappointed they didn't mention that it mounts a 60mm mortar fired by the commander for urban conflict, very interesting tank.
Their tanks were well armored and mounted very good guns, great would imply that they weren't often over-engineered and maintenance intensiv
I used to use "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" by the Ink Spots, only song I could wake up to and not hate.
12 years, never found one. Gave my kid sister a copy of my old Diamond game, finds two within a weak. I no longer have a sister.

Most of the stuff here is from midway through the Cold War or from WWII, if you'd prefer them spend even more money then that's on you 1/2

It's more dump the really old stuff that would cost even more to maintain or scrap, let alone modernize and make useful.
Looked like old T-62's to me, with that knowledge they'll probably just sit there and rust as it's cheaper than refurbishing or scrapping
