That’s teachers for ya. They have to do what parents won’t do every day to protect and nurture kids…Might as well extend it to act on behalf of a broken ass government, too.
I used to live in and still work in that town. She’s a brave and much needed, underrepresented voice there. Get em’ kid!!!

Here’s the thing about unprecedented situations: you trust your experts, you throw in with them, because god willing they are right. If they aren’t, accept it like adults. Things don’t always work out. We don’t crucify people who try in good faith. I don’t, anyway.

Try not to be too jealous, but my employer just doubled my monthly cell phone reimbursement. We’re talking a full $20 now. I’ve already contacted a wealth manager, put my accountant on standby, and I’m looking into whether a private jet makes more sense to lease or buy outright.

My step father was in the 82nd and served in Vietnam - he and his Army brothers would have found this appalling.

I’m a vet as well and feel this to my core. I can’t imagine active duty troops will be willing to participate in throwing people in detention camps in this, our country.. I just can’t.
