Haha yeah, everybody noticed but me at the moment of shooting, the viewfinder is pretty small on that camera and I just wanted to make sure to keep the people in the frame :D
It started pretty well until Leclerc binned it to be honest :) Some nice Sainz overtakes too!
Yes it is, and thank you very much :) Pretty happy with how it turned out given the gear I used. Was lucky to get such a nice spot though !
That's also what I mainly shoot! The 400 was a gift, and it's been perfect so far :D 600mm is great for close up shots though!

Yeah, I used to have the crappiest Canon EF 75-300, so my basis for comparison is pretty awful, but I'm loving the image quality and stab!
Well, it's not :D It's a Canon 1300D (Rebel T6 for Americans) with a Sigma 100-400mm lens!
Yeah, that's the perk of shooting at F5! As my body isn't great, it makes it easier to not miss focus :)

The shade of blue is distinctly different on my end though :o
It becomes more apparent if you edit them! It also removed reflections on water and glossy surfaces which often comes in handy!
A circular polarizing filter, it saturates the blues slightly more. I took the pics straight out of camera and just leveled the exposure.

Poor guy had such an amazing weekend and got screwed by mechanical issues... Better luck next time, at least his suspension didn't melt!

Thanks! While panning is definitely my favorite thing to do, I'd still like the lens to be sharp in all situations, I need a new one :P

I do enjoy doing panning a lot though so it's fine, just frustrating when I want to freeze things!
Yeah, I'm pretty much forced to do panning shots because of my lens. It's terrible at its widest apertures, so I use slow SS and small fstop
Awesome! I'm jealous :D R5 is basically mini WRC, 4WD with sequential gearbox but less power and little aero!
