Shredded a russet potato, soaked in water, and then squeezed dry in a towel, salt and onion powder mixed in. Cast iron pan with about a tablespoon of vegetable oil and a teaspoon of real butter on medium heat, added potatoes. Now, I sturdy them around a couple of times until they get a tinge of color, and then I form the disc afterward. Kinda press it down, watching the heat and adjusting accordingly. Add a tiny bit of oil after about 7 minutes then flip and wait
