Sure, you have lots of ebooks at your local library until the crazies get put in charge of collections and they start banning all “indecent” content, digital or otherwise. Or they defund the library, writ large.

You’re missing the point,deliberately or not.Library books, whether in physical or digital format,must be returned.For library ebooks, you can only keep them indefinitely if you turn off WiFi on the reader device and keep it off but that renders the device useless for obtaining more books.The the larger issue is,you’re out of luck if the library gets ideologically hijacked & starts banning content. Then that content is inaccessible to the community.Only permanent access to ebooks is buying them
A potential silver lining in this nightmare might be to force the world away from fossil fuels sooner than anticipated, if for no other reason than due to oil transit instability. I’m tired, boss
I am an avid, regular library patron but I think it’s a bit more nuanced than how you’re portraying things, particularly if your country has gone insane and banning books right and left, like mine has. When I buy books it’s always from independent shops
There’s an argument for keeping private ownership of physical media, ie books, movies, music, games, over digital content controlled by an outside entity that can be rescinded

Speaking as someone who has had full body electrolysis, the bony parts of my body (ankles, knees, back, etc) hurt the most. FWIW I had 6 sessions (spaced 6-8 weeks apart so as to let the surviving hair follicles go through a growth cycle to be targeted to the max on the following session) that were overall ~70% effective
