Granted it's better to replace cars where it has an immediate impact first, but electric means great flexibility. An ICE doesn't significantly change its emissions per km for its entire lifetime.

Right. But me as a consumer. How do I rank car models according to degree of locality of the value chain? Or degree of contribution to geopolitical sovereign manufacturing capacity and know-how?

Personally, I do value local value chains to an extent. A car being the huge consumable it is, that's one of the most important products when it comes to having your wallet vote according to your values. That said, the complicated supply chains are almost impossible to analyze.
There's a notable lack of numbers of characters known to be outside of the LGBTQ+ group. For all we know those numbers are exactly expected given the rates of LGBTQ+ people in the population.
How do you measure demand for specific character traits in specific genres?
