You aren’t missing much, a new area, new enemy set, new trinkets and an annoying mechanic where your party can become vampires...
I just lost 4 lvl 6 people in the past week. The RNG is stacked against you hard on those final area bosses.
You do. You control the party in the dungeon. But the biggest part of the game is managing the town so they don’t die IN said dungeon.
