PCH see's roughly 45,000 cars a DAY. thats about 16.5 million cars a year and 263 million cars in 16 years. So thats 0%. So glad tax payer money is going to what amounts to a zero % issue compared to DUI deaths (which may even account for some of the speeding deaths), homicide, burglery (which is insane), domestic violence, widfire clearing (common af). Also they are Flock cameras.
So they don't really want to END it, they want to pretend its going away while making it harder for indiviuals to use it while they siphon tax payers money for pedo protection

Just looked up the mythbusters net worths. 99% of them are upper middle class. With the main hosts Jamie and Adam being worth around 8 million each. She partnered with shell in 2023, 9 years after leaving mythbusters. She probably burned most of her earnings staying home taking care of her family. Money is required to live. I would promote cigerettes and the good they do for a 1000 dollars and most of us would if given the opportunity.
Here was my 1985 with the 305 and 4speed auto. Got it from the original owners family. Only had 75k miles when I got it. Unfortunaly a lady texting a driving smashed it while it was parked.
Tesla model S came out in 2012. Thats 14 years ago. That is old. it is still over 12k (cheapest) to replace a model S battery. The chevy volt had a 2012 model, so did the RAV4, Honda FIT, all of these had over 120 mile range. Also you will never see ANY of these on the road. The cost to replace a mach e battery starts at 22K, model 3 (smallest EV battery for tesla starts at 11k) The cost to fully replace the engine AND battery in the new 2026 prius is under 10k on the TOP end of price range.
Hyrbrids for daily use are the best current form of transportation. Why? Have you seen a 200k mile EV? rare and a literal handful over 400k and even those have had batteries replaced. How many pruis taxi's have over 600k miles? Thousands. The cost to replace major componants in a hybrid like the entire engine and battery are cheaper then replaceing equivalent EV batteries. Added bonus of insane travel distance and you dont have to wait to charge. Can't pass down clapped EVs like a 20yr old camry
Luckily modern cars have better bracing (still added some) My 13 GT with a twin turbo kit base tune makes 760hp and I have a scramble to about 900hp. Its a manual as well for those who want to know.

The reason it would be bad is China pays their factory workers LITTLE. So Chinese cars can be sold for LITTLE. Not that American cars are worse but you know in the US most auto plants pay skilled workers almost living wages compared to China. Also Chinese made cars have not gone thru national safety standards. But hey maybe if we let US brands build cars in China to be sold here we could make them cheaper? Thats what we want right? Remove more US jobs so American brands can stay competetive
