I treated myself to an external speaker for my laptop so I could listen to music with a good sound a few months ago. I had to open an account, download an App to get it to work. Increase the bass? Open the App.! I remember there was a time when I upgraded my speakers on my stereo system and only had to unplug two cables and plug the new ones in. * sigh *
This makes me mad and sad at the same time. American lawmakers have the ability to change all of this and make schools safe and a happy place for children to learn. But they don't. Here in Western Australia we have dugites ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dugite ) but after 24 years living here, I've never seen one outside a zoo. When living in NSW for almost 20 years only encountered snakes 3 or 4 times. Largely depends on where you live. They don't like lots of noise/vibrations.
