I thought "treefish" was a nickname for kelpfish. That looks like some type of rockfish. I am being completely serious.
The hogfish is a hermaphrodite, changing from female to male after a certain age. Their snouts are used to snag prey in hard to reach places
Is this one of those giant crustaceans from the paleolithic era that everyone's on about? Looks like he coulda used $3.50...
I think they are also called goosefish (or maybe they have a cousin called that). They have needle like teeth for ambushing prey.
I wish the American possum had a longer lifespan and was tame :'(
This looks like a grey reef shark, and I don't know what their breathing capabilities are.
This is mostly true. While most sharks must swim to breathe, there a few that can manually pump water over their gills.
