This is very much what happened with me (except my partner is a enby goblin 🤣).
It's awesome and I'm very happy for you OP!

This particular lesbian greatly appreciates all these fun and lovely ladies

Bog standard arming swords go best with my arms and stature. I did have a dirk for a while, very nice.
I'm currently working on an Adepta Sororitas (Order of the Bloody Rose) costume which will include a power sword. I'm 3D printing as much as possible, because that's the tool set available to me.

The first (and only) boy I ever loved got me into historical combat. We had a lot of fun and got a lot of minor injuries. My mother didn't mind the injuries because I was having fun

As a 44 year old trans lesbian with *actual* sword training, those "crusader" boys are almost adorable, but mostly annoying.

Everyone talks about Sean Bean dying in all his roles, but most of Tim Curry's did too

Here's him behind the scenes on that

With patience and the right settings, detail (even on a fairly small level) can be quite high. Here's a death trooper helmet I printed and painted, it's only 3cm tall

For a brief period of time I had both, but the resin fumes aggravated my partner's asthma and I didn't have a way to fully isolate the printing area.
I almost exclusively print with PLA now, but despite what the haters say, it's gotten very durable and strong in recent years.

"A butch is a lesbian who exhibits a masculine or non-feminine identity or gender presentation." (wikipedia)
Gina Gershon in Bound is a pretty classic example

They recently started making them in my size; I'm a big and tall lady. I got royal blue.

Samsies

Oh yeah, I wasn't trying to contradict you; just saying that in situations like mine it's functionally impossible.

Name change in NC is just "Prove you don't have a criminal record, provide two 'letters of character' from locals, and here's a list of things your new name can't have. Also $200 processing fee." There's not even a judge involved.

And then you potentially find yourself in my situation; I was born in Ohio and live in NC. Changing my name was easy and fairly inexpensive, but the gender marker is based on the one on my (Ohio) birth certificate. In order to change that I have to go to Dayton Ohio, provide a documentation from both a physician and a psychologist, wait to see a judge and then hope the judge agrees with me, because they can deny the change based on vibes.
tl;dr

Yes, but not a typical hobby laser; the lens coating is going to reflect or disperse that. What you need is a military surplus IR laser rangefinder. Since the IR light has to pass through the lens in order to function, the full power of the laser is going to go right into the CCD.
