If I remember correctly that charger puts out around 2000 horse
The wider tire will help for straight line performance, but if you look at pictures of drag cars there is normally quite a bit of sidewall.
I think he was referring to the sidewalk of the tire. They might be wide, but they appear to be low profile which is bad for performance
