Did we even bother doing this before computer models or did we just wing it?

Think of them like a 2007 Honda Civic with 300k miles for $2,000. You wouldn’t pick them if you had better options and don’t keep them for very long.

In all likelihood they would be more successful with women if they didn’t act like fuck boys, but any port in a storm right?

I think it’s somehow sadder then that. It’s not a plan so much that he’s a toddler that changes his mind whenever someone dangles a different set of keys in front of his face.

“It would be worse under the Democrats”

The was on drugs was so great for cops, “look how many arrests we did for crimes that shouldn’t be crimes, give us more money else all these non-crimes will continue”

He doesn’t have his finger on the button. Not really. He has to ask someone else to press it. And they can say no. Him being clearly unhinged means they are more likely to not blow up all of the Earth for no reason.

Almost like movies that have a reason to exist outside of “we own the IP and want more money” are the ones people actually want to see. Even if that reason is just: “let’s use IMAX to its fullest potential”

Trump would happily give tens of millions of taxpayer money to the UK to get them to drop charges on his buddy. Christ he’d probably give them American Gothic if he could.

Bro was behind a tree, behind a truck and behind a bench when the buffalo decided it was his day to die. Completely unfair.

Imagine being a full ass US Senator for decades and the best thing people can say after your death is that years ago he said something nice.

I was about to say, this looks reposted enough I would need to check each of those links to see if they even exist.

How much does being a bastard cost? Is it also nothing?

It’s the idea that giving up ones money willingly is moral but forcing others to give theirs up is immoral. They conveniently ignore the fact that none of their money could have been made without shared societal improvements. So if requires one to be both greedy and not know how anything works.

Who under 60 is even bothering to watch the local news for their weather?

Sure this is horrifying, but on the other hand the collection of miserable fucks who blame everyone else for their problems are equally fucking miserable even after we did exactly what they wanted.

If this is under ADA jurisdiction I’d bet they have a side door

#14 where is the representation for non-gifted children that also ended up as mentally ill adults?

It’s very much, “none of my business so if you beat a gay guy to death I’ll call you a misguided youth assuming your daddy has enough money (and you’re white)”

18? Yikes. Just young enough to where if their parents drank the kool-aid they are likely to as well, just old enough to get put on a list. Or that’s what should happen. 50/50 chance they become a conservative media darling.

Apart from the immune system boost I don’t know what breast milk has to do with doing better in school. Howeve ever breast milk can be reduced from stress so maybe formula fed babies are on average from parents who both work? Thus schooling is more likely to suffer from lack of individual attention? So then yes, breast fed babies would do better in school. Not because of the milk. But any claim made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence. So this cow better show me the study or GTFO.

It’s funny when YouTube creators will make a point to say they don’t use AI when more often than not the more AI you use the worse the product gets so it’s not like it ends up benefiting you meaningfully. It’s like saying “this channel promises to not kick ourselves in the balls each morning.”

Stuff like puberty blockers does have some bone density issues, and bottom surgery can be harder to pull off if you never went through an unblocked puberty. It’s not terrible but technically you have better medical outcomes by going through a puberty without medical interventions and then transitioning. But then you go through a painful puberty. So until the medicine improves drastically it’s going to be a tough call.

65% of veterans voted for Trump. If all you care about is min-maxing who votes for you, why even bother? Republicans keep winning because they don’t earn 90% of the votes they get, people will just vote for them regardless. When Democrats demand fidelity without actually delivering they get crushed (rightfully so I might add, there is a reason the GOP is a joke at the moment).

Plus would you be able to easily set the temperature of different rooms? Every room would either be hot or cold depending where on the building it is or the preference of the occupant. What confuses me is that these units just didn’t have any way to cool them before you send a guy out to retrofit it?

It’s definitely him trying to reframe the narrative of the GOP going off the deep end. I can’t imagine a Democratic Party post Robber Baron era that Vance wouldn’t be against. Would this GOP not be against entering WW2, New Deal or the Civil Rights Act? Maybe his grandmother was born in 1875?

As for the fridges, the idea was that a few years ago machine visual processing was able to identify accurately under ideal conditions and that within a few years it would be able to identify objects in non-ideal conditions. So then your fridge could buy you what ever you were missing automatically. Kinda cool. Except the tech never got better at “seeing”. So now you have a fridge that needs to be online with an app but then can’t actually tell you anything.

It did happen in the UK but that was only because they went out of their way to attract ultra wealthy people who are just trying to park their money tax free. But attracting those types of millionaires is just a race to the bottom. They will move anywhere that saves them money, and what’s the point of attracting an army of Ebenezer Scrooges?

Property taxes is one of the few taxes an NYC mayor can change without support from the state government.

The majority of the funding comes from New York State, $7.6b, cutting overtime: $1.77b, delay in pension payments: $1.6b. “Only” $500 million from a new luxury home tax. I’m not saying he should have done something different but I would hate for rich New Yorkers to say: “but our tax dollars closed the budget deficit, we shouldn’t have to pay any more!” When in reality they largely didn’t get touched. They always pretend they will leave if their taxes get raised. They never do.

Yeah I figured you wouldn’t give a shit. All I’m asking is for a judge to give him 9 years in jail instead of 10 because maybe his brain was turned to mush for our entertainment. But obviously that’s massively too much slack for Judge Fucking Dredd.
