Winboat creates a virtual machine automatically from the official Windows ISOs, and apps can be run in a full Windows desktop (RDP) or as independent windows, like any Linux app. It's pretty slick, but it's a bit weightier than Wine or Proton.
I switched my wife's computer and mine over to Zorin OS, and I couldn't get Quicken to install with just Wine, but Winboat did the trick.
