I see these people online who cite COINTELpro, but they consistently leave out the part where they tried to make extreme leftist groups MORE extreme knowing it would alienate them from the general public. So naturally there is a group that insists they are the real leftists, have made a big effort to take over Reddit socialist groups, but usually their thinking is that "USA = bad, therefore enemy of the USA = good". Yes there is some actual socialism, but fairly basic.

Certainly there was a sense that men sacrificing themselves for the women and children was noble, but this was the same era that treated women and children as essentially property of their husband/father. I wonder how much of this is due to a lack of imagination. You do not have to actually experience violence to appreciate that it is bad, but you do need some imagination. They are capable of survival so they understand objective facts as they relate to their day to day, but suddenly they don't care about truth when it is political. They care about winning the political game, but they treat the other consequences as not quite real.
They see everyone as either totally good or totally evil, and believe violence between the two as necessary. That is why they see guns as the only solution to a bad government, but they do not see government violence as necessarily bad.
These guys live in social circles where they get rewarded when they over estimate themselves, and punished for every show of humility and restraint. Of course the people doling out the punishments and rewards are the exact same sort of guy.

My theory is that they rely on traditional gender roles as a guide through life and a source of identity. They cling to the idea of "I am a woman" or "I am a man" instead of stopping to think about who they are, or their place in the world; but that requires a sense that womanhood and manhood are absolutes. So the concept of gender transition is a threat, but so is someone simply refusing to conform.

The USA's economic dominance means that you get more by sending dollars to other countries and buying stuff over there. TBF, AFAIK she avoided going into details about her politics. The only thing she would say if asked a political question is "I accept everyone!" On the other hand "I accept everyone!" is arguably very left wing.

So in Sweden these things are just a demonstration. Meanwhile in the USA, particularly CA, I keep seeing "homeless shelters" where the homes are about the same size, but less house like. Seeing those photos, or the small one next to the Target I buy soap at, I think "OH, somebody think the housing problem will go away on its own in a few years, so they built structures that will only last a few years."
They will probably argue that vaccines changed at a certain point that coincidentally happens to be a few years before the point where they started learning the conspiracy theories.
For that price I would expect there to be bark still on it, and the whole thing to be soaked in something to preserve it.
