And everything you thought was just so important doesn't matter!
Anyone else remember Venture? https://malls.fandom.com/wiki/Venture
Thank you! This is another show that I loved as a kid and nobody else I meet ever seems to have heard of!
#31 This sounds lovely, but does not describe a king sized bed in my experience. Perhaps the Alaskan king?
I still want to know what the watermelon was for.
Ditto
#1 Zoobilee Zoo! One of those shows that nobody I talk to ever seems to have even heard of.
Yes. Yes I do remember these. I also remember their successor, and am frequently displeased that neither are available anymore!
Came here for this. Thank you!
When Fukushima was hit by the tsunami in 2011, there was an app made for checking for radiation with a phone. Basically, it involved covering the camera with black tape so it shouldn't see anything. Any dots showing up on the sensor meant radiation.
Please elaborate
If you haven't, you should read Connections by James Burke (and also watch his TV series of the same name). It's a great look at how ideas lead from one to another over time!

I'm not certain, but they look like the eye cover of a camera viewfinder to me. https://share.google/images/V4bv3zAJBSWfk0IeV
There are plenty of examples. Physically, things like posture, balance, and breathing are easier to learn by having someone observe and correct than trying to do it yourself. Behaviorally, it's often easier to demonstrate and influence others than it can be to change oneself (think of a teacher instilling good habits in kids despite struggling to live up to them), and then of course there's social pressure and accountability that readily drive actions more effectively than personal efforts.
Fallacious reasoning. Being able to change yourself is not equivalent to being changeable by others. In some cases it's easier!
#8 That's not the elephant show!
#22 It depends on the train. If it's cramped like an airplane, then no, I probably wouldn't want to. If it's cheaper than flying and is more like historical trains with compartments, a dining car, and sleeping areas, then I'd absolutely take that over flying!
I don't know if they're still there, but there used to be a few of those around the Chicago area.
The Luggage is made of sapient pearwood.
Can someone please explain why I feel like I would find this easier with the stilts than without them, yet also think I'd fall over pretty quickly?
It's the amazing technicolor cheese wedge!
#39 I thought it was Upload too. Where is it really?
This role always seems to be overlooked for some reason.
I was going to make a similar observation. Thank you for getting there before me!
I read somewhere years ago that we (the readers and watchers) find it silly that a pair of glasses work as a disguise, but in the world of the story, nobody knows about "secret identities," so nobody is looking at people and thinking they're secretly superheroes. As far as they're concerned, Superman is just out there as Superman all the time.
#48 This, more than the rest of the memes I've seen around here, reminds me of a great website from years ago called "You can't do that on Star Trek."
