Cope and siege
A huge amount of the weapons are highly concentrated in the population. It also doesn't help that any 'militancy' that isn't right wing has been systematically degraded for decades, both in terms of organizations and also perception. A great starting place if you're curious is to look at how narratives around MLK and Malcolm X have been massaged, and further back, the rise and fall of labor unions from 1900 to post WW2.
Great setup, but that GPU could use a sag bracket or similar.
I don't have any special expertise, but anecdotally, when an RPG I used to play added convincing eye animations (actually pointing where eyes should point, narrowing, etc), it felt like night and day. Even though the game's lip-synch had always been extremely good, I'm not sure how much you pay attention to someone's mouth during conversation unless there's something there that specifically catches your attention, like bad teeth.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcjr4jbGuJg provides interesting counterpoints, though there's no doubt it could be going much better.
'Power of American women'? How about the powers of the POTUS and Congress, ffs.
Outstanding stuff, I'm saving a few Eduard kits for when I feel like my skills have advanced enough to do them justice.
Labor organizing and striking may be one of the only "nonviolent" nuclear options ordinary people have.
And I'll add since there's people thinking I'm trying to get people not to vote, this is the exact opposite; every level of govt matters.
FDR came within an inch of stacking the obstructionist Republican SC, and they backed down. What have the Dems of today done?
They also could have had an ounce of the ruthlessness that Republicans have had in seizing courts, but I guess it wasn't important enough.
Democrats have had multiple opportunities where they had Congress and the Presidency to enshrine Roe. They didn't. That's incompetent.
Shows the importance of local politics, especially when national Dems are being incompetent/ sellouts.
It definitely sounds like a way to push Republican 'economics' disguised as something useful - curriculum brought to you by PragerU.
But there's no false information in the glorious capitalist US!
Great modeling! I've got the AMK F-14 in my stash for whenever I feel confident that I can do it justice. How was the build for you?
Bleh I got baited into engaging with this person when I should have just gone back to lurking. Thanks though
Tod didn't take his atabrine
Figured out why Krauss is salty; they're an anti-progressive Dem. Of course they're conflating critiquing Dems with supporting Trump
Mental illness much? I'm genuinely curious when I have ever defended Republicans; please enlighten me
My objection is to the tweet's use of language usually associated with reactionary right-wingers, who love conflating legality with morality
Being arrested to protest police violence and for civil rights should be treated as a badge of principle
To clarify, Boebert's crimes reflect how she is a trash human, but not all arrest records should be treated negatively
Defend Republicans? My biggest gripe with Dems is when they pander to conservatism. Republicans are fascist lite
WTF? I'm pointing out that her arrests reflect on her bad character, but not all arrests should be treated the same
Yup, her arrests boil down to being a terrible human being
Boebert is trash, but language like this is ceding ground. The arrest details matter - i.e., civil rights protesting vs. petty crimes
And I say this as an engineer who loves STEM, but also feels that education, particularly higher ed, must be treated as a public good
They want more highly-educated labor to exploit. It's part of why STEM has been pushed so hard - it's most needed by the ruling classes.
