It's less about the logic of it, and more about the fact it's an idiom, and carries a meaning implied, not the meaning of words within.

beyond their own possessions, the reason they happen to be black is because of the state of the community they were raised in. Meaning (2/?)
I used to have this same issue, what I had to realize is that it isn't black people per se, rather it is people who value very little (1/?)

For some reason most of these remind me of the giant worm enemies from Beetleborgs.
I know this is Cowboy Bebop, but does anyone know of any games like Risk of Rain? The style reminded me of it.
