Depends on the view point. The report says "up to 1000" and of those only 400 people are harmed. It's also worth noting that London is 1/2

That's where the problem is, you are trusting people who are untrained and unregulated to make the decision.

The solution to an undermanned police force is to get more police not supply the general public with guns. We are also training armed police

Don't deny it, I still think I'd rather that not have people committing these "violent crimes" armed with a firearm.
That same source also points out that the murder per 100,000 is FOUR times more than that of the UK. Shot yourself in the foot there (ha)
