Great whites will skedaddle if a an orca is in its presence. Great whites are terrified of orcas as orcas are known to kill them.

Shorter the rest the better.
I used to do 4-5 x 1000 meter intervals @ 5k pace. I would start off doing 2-3 x 1000 meter intervals @ race pace.
It's all about long interval training and training at race pace while doing those intervals. It helped me improve my times significantly.
Good job. Close to Collegiate times, just another 40-50 seconds or so.
There is the San Jose Earthquakes, a MLS team. It's name was criticized due to its proximity to the San Andreas fault.
