Holy damn! Is Berlin a good walking / biking city? It was on the list I used.
I don't know is username checks out or not, but no, I did not dip anything in the canals. Did walk in the rain a bit, but ducked into a bar for the worst of it.

I had a blast! I only did one tour (bike tour) and it wasn't the one I meant to do, but it was still great. I met so many nice people, had laughs and drinks with strangers. It was nice to just kind of exist without worry for a while.
And that was my mistake. I didn't think to change my socks every few hours. Thanks for the tip!
